- Customers using Email Archive with Google Workspace
Purpose
- This explains how emails sent and received from Google Workspace (Gmail) are archived to Email Archive.

- The latest domain information in Google Workspace must be registered in HENNGE.
If registration is required, please submit a domain addition request using the article below.
What are the procedures to add additional domain? - There are many similar items, so please be careful when setting them.
Procedure
Pre-check Items
1. Access the [Google Admin Console] of Google Workspace to check the impact on the email route.
2. Click [Apps] - [Google Workspace] - [Gmail].
3. Click [Default routing] to check the existing routing settings, take a screenshot and send it to us before this connection work.
4. Return to [Gmail], open [Routing] and check the details. If there are existing settings, please take a screenshot of the configuration and send it to us before starting this connection process.
Google Workspace Work
1. Access [Google Admin Console] - [Apps] - [Google Workspace] - [Gmail].
2. From [Hosts] - [Add Route], enter the following values and [Save] to create a total of 4 hosts.
Host 1
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)
- Host Name: in.r01.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require secure (TLS) connection when sending and receiving email]
※ Do not check [Require CA-signed certificate] and [Verify certificate host].
Host 2
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)
- Host Name: out.r01.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require secure (TLS) connection when sending and receiving email]
※ Do not check [Require CA-signed certificate] and [Verify certificate host].
Host 3
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_inbound)
- Host Name: in.r02.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require secure (TLS) connection when sending and receiving email]
※ Do not check [Require CA-signed certificate] and [Verify certificate host].
If checked, emails will not be archived.
Host 4
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_outbound)
- Host Name: out.r02.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require secure (TLS) connection when sending and receiving email]
※ Do not check [Require CA-signed certificate] and [Verify certificate host].
If checked, emails will not be archived.

3. Access [Google Admin Console] - [Apps] - [Google Workspace] - [Gmail].
4. In [Routing] - [Settings], add a total of 4 routing settings with the following values.
※If there are already other routing settings, select [Add another rule].
※Use the host created in the "[Host] settings".
※For the values to be entered in the routing settings, please refer to [Connection Settings] under [HENNGE Email Archive] in the [Service List] of the Customer Portal.

- Routing: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)
- Effect on email: Check [Inbound]
- Also deliver to: Check [Add more recipients], then click [Add] - [Advanced]
- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)" from the dropdown
- Spam and delivery options: Check [Do not deliver spam to this recipient] and [Suppress bounces from this recipient]
- Header: Check [Add custom headers], click [Add], enter "Hdems-Archive-Domain" in [Header Key] and "Main Domain" in [Header Value], then click [Save] - [Save] - [Save]
※ The [Header Value] is stated in the [Forwarding Settings] of the document HENNGE One Connection Setting Sheet.

- Routing: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)
- Email messages to affect: [Outbound] and [Internal - sending]
- Also deliver to: Check [Add more recipients], then click [Add] - [Advanced]
- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)" from the dropdown
- Spam and delivery options: Check [Do not deliver spam to this recipient] and [Suppress bounces from this recipient]
- Header: Check [Add custom headers], click [Add], enter "Hdems-Archive-Domain" in [Header Key] and "Main Domain" in [Header Value], then click [Save] - [Save] - [Save]
