What are the procedures to add additional domain?

Question

I would like to add domains for use with HENNGE One. Is there any procedure required?

Answer

You can request to add domains for use from the HENNGE One Customer Portal.
For more information, please refer to the following article.

When adding domains (including subdomains), it takes about 5 business days from the time you submit the required screenshots.
Please submit your request well in advance.
*If you do not submit a domain addition request, you may not be able to use HENNGE One properly, such as being unable to archive emails in Email Archive. Please be sure to contact us.

Required Tasks When Adding Domains

If your case matches any of the following patterns, additional configuration on the product side is required.
If you have any questions, please contact HENNGE One Technical Support.

For Customers Using Email DLP (Misdelivery Prevention / Encrypted)

If you would like us to configure filters such as misdelivery prevention for the added domains, please specify the desired filter settings for the added domains in detail in the "Customer Notes" section of the domain addition request.
*If you do not specify your preferences, you will need to configure the settings yourself.

For Customers Using Access Control + Active Directory Integration

If you wish to integrate users of the new domain with Access Control and Active Directory, please attach the following files and contact HENNGE One Technical Support separately.

  1. Configuration file for the sync module (config.ini)
    * Located directly under C:\Program Files\HDE One Directory Sync.
  2. Security group assignment batch file (Assign-HDEOnePasswrdSyncGroup.bat)
    * Located in the C:\HDEOne folder.
    When attaching, please rename the extension to ".ba_" or similar.

Notes

For Customers Using Access Control + Non-Active Directory Integration and Sync Direction: Access Control → Microsoft 365 (AzureAD)

If users for the added domain have already been created in the Access Control admin console, running the sync process may update the user information (family name, given name, display name) for the relevant domain on the Microsoft 365 side.
If this applies to you, please make sure that each user parameter (family name, given name, display name) is set correctly in advance.
