This article explains the procedure for issuing an OTP (One-Time Password) for users of Access Control at login, using HENNGE Lock or other authenticator applications.

- A single user cannot set up HENNGE Lock on multiple devices.

Procedure (when configuring from the login screen) is only for users using the new login screen.
If you are using the old login screen, please follow the steps in Procedure (when configuring from the user portal).
Procedure (when configuring from the login screen)

From the Access Control login screen, follow the on-screen instructions to log in using your username, password, device certificate, etc.

When the OTP setup method screen appears, click [Set up with app].

Follow the on-screen instructions: for HENNGE Lock, scan the QR code; for other authenticator apps, enter the code.

Log in to the Access Control user portal.

Click [OTP (One-Time Password) Settings].
* If this item does not appear, the setting is restricted by your administrator. Please contact your internal administrator. -
Click [Set up OTP].

Click [Configure OTP using a device] – [Configure with Device].
* The following steps differ depending on whether you use HENNGE Lock or another authenticator application.
If using HENNGE Lock
If using an authenticator application other than HENNGE Lock

- Install HENNGE Lock.

Proceed with the setup starting from step 2 shown on the screen.

After scanning the QR code, the OTP (One-Time Password) will be displayed in the application.
・Screen when using HENNGE Lock -
On the Access Control user portal, confirm that the following completion screen is displayed.
If using an authenticator application other than HENNGE Lock
- Scan the displayed QR code with the authenticator application installed on your mobile device and confirm that OTP (One-Time Password) generation has started.

Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) token generated by the authenticator application and click [Confirm].
* For initial synchronization, you need to enter the confirmed OTP (One-Time Password). -
If completed successfully, the following completion screen will be displayed.
* If you enter an incorrect value, the process will not complete even if you enter the correct OTP (One-Time Password) token. Please start over from step 3.
