Administrators who perform initial settings and operational management of Access Control

Purpose

This explains the procedure to create/edit an Access Policy Template.

Global administrator privileges for Access Control are required to confirm the actual screen and change settings.

Procedure

1. Access the [Access Control] - [Access Policy Templates] from the left menu of the Access Control Administration.

2. Click [Add Template] in the upper right corner of the screen or select one of the already created Access Policy Templates.

3. Set the "Identifier", "Display Name", and "Condition to allow access", then click the button in the lower right corner.
Once created, the Identifier cannot be changed, so if created incorrectly, please delete it once and create it again.

Next Steps

Assign the created/edited Access Policy Template.
※ If the Access Policy Template has already been assigned, no action is required.

If assigning to a condition to allow user access: Create a new Access Policy Group in Access Control
If assigning to a condition to issue an Entrance Pass cookie: Access Control Other Settings

Items (Access Policy Template)

Item	Content	Description
Identifier	Setting value of the Access Policy Template used in "Access Policy Group" or "Issue entrance pass on login"	The length of the Identifier must be within 256 characters. Characters that can be used in the Identifier are alphanumeric, hyphen, dot, and underscore. Duplicate registration of Identifiers is not allowed. Identifier cannot be changed.
Display Name	Name of the Access Policy Template	The length of the Display Name must be 256 characters or less.
Condition to allow access	Access condition expression	Access is only allowed under the conditions described in the condition expression. The maximum number of characters for the input access condition expression is 4096 characters. Please refer to the following article for input methods. How to write an access condition expression
Usage	Access Policy Group and its item name where the Access Policy Template is set	You can check the setting location from the icon on the left of the Access Policy Group. ※ It is not displayed when creating a new Access Policy Template.
