I connected Email Archive with groupware, but emails are not being archived properly in Email Archive.
Can I check the delivery status of emails from the groupware?
Answer
Follow the steps below for Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
Also, to identify the range that is not archived, check the following 3 types of emails when confirming.
- Emails sent to external (outside the tenant)
- Emails received from external (outside the tenant)
- Emails sent within the internal (inside the tenant)
Procedure
For Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online)
Confirming Email Inflow to HENNGE Email Archive
1. Access [Microsoft 365 Admin Center] - [Exchange] - [Mail Flow] - [Message Trace].
2. Click [+Start a trace].
3. Enter [your main domain@j01.hdems.com] and [your main domain@j02.hdems.com] as recipients and search.
4. Confirm that emails are being sent to each recipient without any issues.
※ If emails are not being sent to each recipient, please contact HENNGE with a capture of the results.
Confirming Inflow of Sent Email Types
1. Check the [Message ID] of the 3 types of test emails.
2. Access [Microsoft 365 Admin Center] - [Exchange] - [Mail Flow] - [Message Trace].
3. Click [+Start a trace].
4. Search for the above 3 types of emails.
5. From the search results, select the target email and click [Copy report text] at the top of the screen.
Paste the report text saved to the clipboard into a text file, etc., and save it.
※ Please confirm if there is a notation of the message ID of journal.report.generator after @ in the report text.
6. Provide the obtained report text for the 3 types of test emails to our representative.
We will also confirm the inflow of emails to the Email Archive.
For Google Workspace (Gmail)
1. Access [Google Workspace Admin Console] - [Reports] - [Email Log Search].
2. Search for the above 3 types of emails across all domains registered in Google Workspace.
3. Click the subject displayed in the search results to view the email details.
4. Click to expand the [Recipient details section] and confirm if the forwarding "HENNGE Email Archive" is applied.
5. Note the From, To, and Sent Date of the relevant email.
6. Contact our representative with the noted details for the 3 types of test emails.
We will also confirm the inflow of emails to the Email Archive.
