Purpose

Procedure on setup of new Policies on HENNGE Cloud Protection.

Caution

3. The following setup requires HENNGE Cloud Protection admin priviledge.

4. The HENNGE Cloud Protection Admin Console URL is unique for each customers.

5. Policies can be applied in incliments of tenants.

Details / Procedures 

A policy is a set of settings and rules that define how HENNGE Cloud Protection will protect a user's mailbox and what action will be taken if a security threat is detected.
To create a new policy in HENNGE Cloud Protection, click [ Policies ] in the left menu of the HENNGE Cloud Protection administration page.
Also, you can only create a new policy by copying an existing policy.
In this section, we will guide you the process of creating a new policy by copying existing Default Policy.

1. Setup New Policy

1.1 Access the following URL to access the HENNGE Cloud Protection Admin Console.

1.2 Click on the [ COLLABORATION PROTECTION ] - [ Policies ] from the left menu.

1.3  Click on [ ... ] in Menu column of [ Default Policy ] and click on [ Copy ].

1.4  A Policy with the name [ Copy of Default Policy ] will be displayed in the edit page.

1.5 On the page that opens, under [ General ], in the [ Policy Name ] field, enter a name for your new policy. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. (Example: Custom Policy)

1.6 On the [ Policies ] page, select [ ... ] in the menu column of the policy you just created, and then select [ Set as Default ].

The above setting will change the created Policy as default policy.
From hereon, all new Microsoft Office 365 Tenants connected with HENNGE Cloud Protection will be automatically assigned this created policy.
