Question
If authentication for downloading files from Secure Download has been successfully completed in the past, is it possible to skip authentication the next time?
Answer
If you check "Keep me signed in" on the authentication screen and complete authentication, the authentication information will be saved in your browser, allowing you to skip authentication for 14 days.
This authentication skip feature is valid per sender domain.
Notes
- Please note that if authentication information is deleted, for example by clearing your browser cache, you will be required to authenticate again the next time you download a file.
- Even if you have already authenticated once, you cannot skip authentication for emails sent from a different domain (including subdomains); recipients will need to authenticate separately.
Example:
First Secure Download sender email address: xxx@sample.com
→ The recipient must authenticate in the browser (authentication information is saved for "sample.com")
Next Secure Download sender email address: xxx@sub.sample.com
→ The recipient must authenticate separately in the browser (authentication information is saved for "sub.sample.com")
