This article introduces update information for Secure Transfer.

Virus Scan Engine Update

With the update to the virus scan engine during file upload, Microsoft Office files can now also be detected for encryption.
If the [Block download of encrypted files] setting is enabled, encrypted Microsoft Office files will also be blocked.
※Microsoft Office files with a "password to open" are detected as encrypted files.

• File formats that can be detected as encrypted (before update)
  • ZIP, 7ZIP, RAR, PDF
• File formats that can be detected as encrypted (after update)
  • ZIP, 7ZIP, RAR, PDF, Microsoft Office files
    * Some Microsoft Office files may not be detected.

There are no changes to the behavior of Secure Transfer when an encrypted file is detected.
Files will be processed according to the [Block download of encrypted files] setting in the admin screen, as shown below.
