Purpose
This article explains the procedure to deactivate Email Archive Classic after starting to use Email Archive Modern.

- Initial administrator privileges are required to confirm the actual screens and to perform the deactivation of Email Archive Classic.

Be sure to complete the initial setup of Email Archive Modern before performing the deactivation of Email Archive Classic.
[Email Archive Modern] Getting Started - Once Email Archive Classic is deactivated, all users will lose access to Email Archive Classic.
- After deactivating Email Archive Classic, it is not possible to re-enable access to Email Archive Classic.
Procedure
*Be sure to complete the initial setup of Email Archive Modern before performing this operation.
[Email Archive Modern] Getting Started

From the Email Archive Classic Administration, click [Administration Settings] – [Deactivate Email Archive Classic] – [Deactivate].

A confirmation message will be displayed. Please confirm the content.
*Once this action is completed, all users will lose access to the Classic version. Please be sure to confirm the following points.- You can access the Modern version.
- All users who need to be migrated from the Classic version have already been created in the Modern version.
*If necessary, please download and store the Classic version's "Operation Log" and "Archive Search Log".
- To deactivate the Classic version, enter "deactivate" in the input field and click [Save].

Log out from Email Archive Classic. After this, all users will lose access to the Classic version.
