[Access Control] User Guide

Overview

This article explains to users of Access Control how to log in to the User Portal, configure password settings, and set up OTP (One-Time Password).

Notes

  1. The display may differ depending on your device's OS, version, and model.
  2. The content of this article is based on product specifications as of March 2026 and may change without notice.
  3. Depending on your organization's settings, some menus may not be displayed.
    Please contact your organization's administrator.

Procedure

Please click the procedure you wish to perform.

How to Log In with the New Login Screen+

  1. Log in to Access Control from the following URL.
    https://ap.ssso.hdems.com

  2. After logging in, you will be redirected to the User Portal.

How to Log In with the Old Login Screen+

  1. Log in to Access Control from the following URL: https://ap.ssso.hdems.com/portal/<yourdomain>/login/
    * Please replace <yourdomain> with your contracted domain.

  2. After logging in, you will be redirected to the User Portal.

Password Settings+

  1. Click [Password Settings].

To Set or Change Your Password

  1. Enter your current password, new password, and new password (confirm), then click [Submit].
    * If you are a user whose password is synchronized from Active Directory, "Password can not be changed on HENNGE One." will be displayed.
    In that case, please change the password for the relevant user in Active Directory.

To Set a Self Password Reset Email Address

  1. Enter the new password reset email address and new password reset email address (confirm), then click [Submit].

  2. An email with a security code will be sent to the password reset email address you set.
    Please enter it in the [Security Code] field.

  3. When the setup is complete, the following screen will be displayed.

  4. If a password reset email address has already been set, please delete it once.
    After that, you can reconfigure it using the same procedure.

OTP (One-Time Password) Settings+

  1. Click [OTP (One-Time Password) Settings].

  2. Click [Configure OTP].

  3. Click the method you want to configure.

  5. If you are unsure whether you are set to receive OTP via app or email, please check the screen in step 2 above. You can confirm your current settings.
    If you cannot identify the device receiving OTP, please reconfigure OTP settings as it is difficult to specify the receiving device.

Secure Browser Settings+

  1. On the User Portal, click [Username] - [Secure Browser Settings].

  2. The devices currently registered will be displayed.
    * You can register a new device by clicking [Register New Device] at the bottom left.

  3. Clicking [Register New Device] will display a QR code for setup, allowing you to configure a new device.

  4. After setup is complete, you can configure unread email notifications for each device by clicking [Settings] for each device.

Confirm Device Certificates+

  1. On the User Portal, click [Username] - [Device Certificates].

  2. You can confirm the status of issued certificates.

  3. Click [Details] to view detailed information for each certificate.
