This article introduces update information for File DLP.
"Notification to End Users" Feature for Auto Stop Policy
When external file sharing is automatically remediated by the File DLP "Auto Remediation Policies," a notification email can now be automatically sent to the end users who are the owners or Organizers of the relevant file.
Previously, there was no way to notify end users when Automatic remediation was Executeed, meaning that unless the Organizer manually reached out, users would suddenly find themselves unable to access a file without any explanation.
By utilizing this feature, Organizers can reduce the operational burden of manual communication, while also automatically informing and educating end users as to why their file sharing was Deactivated.
