[Email Archive Classic] Control Access

Please be advised that the provision of Email Archive Classic will be discontinued on September 30, 2026. We kindly request customers currently using the Classic version to migrate to the Modern version by the service termination date.

Target

  • Administrators who perform initial settings and operational management of HENNGE Email Archive

Purpose

  • This article explains how to implement access control to the HENNGE Email Archive Administration.

Notes

  1. This article is based on the product specifications as of February 2025 and may change without notice.
  2. Administrator privileges for HENNGE Email Archive are required to verify the actual screen and change settings.
  3. Please refer to the login information sent at the time of introduction for the URL and login information of the HENNGE Email Archive Administration.
  4. If IP control settings are implemented in HENNGE Email Archive Modern, this procedure cannot be used.
    Please make changes from the Modern version.

Procedure

1. Select [Console Settings].

2. Select [Edit] on the right side of [Allowed Access].

3. Select [Specify Allowed Access], specify the IP address in [Allowed Access], and select [Save].
※ If an incorrect IP address is specified, you will not be able to log in, so please be sure to check before saving.

・Current Source IP Address: Displays the current source IP address accessing the HENNGE Email Archive.

・Allowed IP Address: Specify the IP address that is allowed to access the HENNGE Email Archive Administration.

It is also possible to specify in CIDR notation (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/xx). However, when specifying in CIDR notation, you need to enter the start IP address (the first value in the IP range).

Example: By specifying 111.111.111.0/24, it is possible to allow IP addresses from 111.111.111.0 to 111.111.111.255, including 111.111.111.111.
