Create a search policy


This article is intended for administrators who perform the initial setup and operational management of HENNGE Email Archive.


This article explains how to create policies for searching when users use the HENNGE Email Archive management screen.

2. HENNGE Email Archive administrator privileges are required for actual screen verification and configuration changes.

3. Please refer to the login information sent to you during installation for the URL and login information for the HENNGE Email Archive management screen.

Detailed Explanation / Procedure

The search policy is configured in the HENNGE Email Archive management screen under [Search Control Settings] in the left menu.



1. Select [Add Search Policy].


2. Enter each item and select [Add].


- Search Policy Name: Set any policy name displayed in the "Search Control Settings" screen list.

- Search Period: Set the period during which searching is allowed for users belonging to this policy.

- Search Target Address: Set the address to be searched for users belonging to this policy.

It is possible to specify by email address or domain, and the specified conditions will be searched if they are included in To / Cc / Bcc / Envelope From.

- Advanced Search Control: Set this for conditions other than those mentioned above.
