[Access Control] Required Tasks When Adding Users to Active Directory

Question

We are operating with user synchronization from Active Directory to Access Control.
As the number of users increases, what should we do to sync newly created user information in Active Directory to Access Control?

Answer

1. Run the "Assign-HDEOnePasswrdSyncGroup.bat" file that was placed during the initial setup.
   * If you have not placed this file, this step is not necessary.

2. Change the Windows password for the target user and confirm that the change was successful.

3. Sync the users.

   • If you want to sync immediately

     Manually run "HENNGE Directory Sync".

   • If you want to wait for automatic user sync

     By default, user sync is performed every 2 hours.
     Please wait for the sync to complete.

You can check the results of user sync and password sync from the sync logs.
