What is the difference between the "Real-time Period" and the "Backup Period"?

Email Archive has two types of storage periods: "Real-time Period" and "Backup Period".

Archive data included in the Real-time Period is stored in a state where the message body information can be viewed/downloaded immediately.
Archive data included in the Backup Period is stored in a long-term storage area.
These data are subject to email search and appear in the search results list, but to view/download the message body information, decompression work is required.
