Purpose
- This article explains how to configure various settings (such as file size and security) for your Secure Transfer tenant.
Notes
- The content of this article is based on product specifications as of February 2026 and is subject to change without notice.
- If you manage multiple domains, the tenant admin can change settings for all domains.
Domain admins can change settings only for the domains they manage. - For instructions on how to access the Administration, please refer to the following article.

Procedure
1. Click the menu you want to configure from the left menu.
* The screenshot below shows an example of changing [File Size].
2. On the settings screen, select the domain you want to configure from [Selected Domain], make your changes, and click the [Save] button.
* [Selected Domain] will not be displayed for domain admins.
Items (Transfer Settings)
The following is an overview of the menus related to transfer settings.

After changing the transfer type, you will not be able to add files or edit links for transfer types that are no longer allowed. (You can still disable links or download files.) |

* This feature is available only for HENNGE One Pro contracts. Uploaded files are retained until the file expiration period. Updated settings apply only to newly created transfers. For details, please refer to the following article. |
| Transfer Expiration Period | Period during which uploaded files can be shared with guests (1 - 31 days) |
If you are not on the HENNGE One Pro plan, files are deleted after the transfer expiration period. Updated settings apply only to newly created transfers. |

| File Retention Period | Period during which Secure Transfer retains uploaded files (0 - 365 days) |
* This feature is available only for HENNGE One Pro contracts. Files that have passed the transfer expiration period are retained without deletion during the file retention period. Updated settings apply only to newly created transfers. |

| File Management | Process when users delete files |
If file archiving is enabled, files are archived instead of deleted when users delete them. Archived files can be downloaded by the creator and admin of the transfer. Archived files are not displayed on the guest download page and are not counted toward transfer storage or file number limits. For details, please refer to the following article. |

Items (Link Settings)
The following is an overview of the menus related to link settings.
* If you change the security policy, you will not be able to edit the security policy for links created in the past that do not match the new policy from the [Transfer History] screen. (You can still disable or re-enable links.)
