Detailed Instructions

1. Creating the account for utilizing Microsoft  Volume License Center

After creating the Microsoft 365 tenant, create accounts for the Microsoft 365 default domain (the domain that contains .onmicrosoft.com) for the number of people who can log in to the Volume Licensing Center.

Note that the user part of these accounts (the part before the "@" in the account name) is a different string than the user's corporate domain account that you will create in Microsoft 365.

Example :
If a particular user's corporate domain account is user@example.com", then the Volume License Center account is test.user@example.onmicrosoft.com.
(@example.onmicrosoft.com is your Microsoft 365 default domain.)

Also, you do not have to assign Microsoft 365 licenses to these accounts.
