We are periodically synchronizing user information from Access Control to Microsoft Entra ID.
Is there a way to temporarily stop the user periodical sync to prevent it from running during the process of adding, deleting, or updating users due to personnel announcements, etc.?
Answer
You can disable the periodical sync settings with the following steps and re-enable the periodical sync after the user updates are complete.
※ If you are synchronizing from Microsoft Entra ID to Access Control, there are precautions, so please contact us.
1. Disable the user periodical sync settings.

※ After disabling the periodical sync settings, please confirm that the periodical sync for the target domain is disabled.

2. While the periodical sync is stopped, edit the user information (add, delete, update) in Access Control.

3. Once the user information editing is complete, enable the user periodical sync.
