On the management screen for federated domains, there is an [Upgrade] button for domains that are currently federated.
Should I perform the upgrade?
Answer
We recommend performing the upgrade.
The federation settings after the upgrade adopt more secure technology.
*There is no impact on existing users when performing the upgrade.
Additionally, by upgrading, you will be able to control access to Microsoft 365 using Access Control's Access Policy Groups.
