[Email DLP] How to Resolve Error Messages When Using Secure Download for Box – HENNGE One Help Center

Question

I tried to send a file using Secure Download for Box, but the user received the following NDR and the file could not be sent.
How should I review the settings?
Reference: Email DLP MAILER-DAEMON@mo.hdems.com returns an error email and email cannot be sent

Error Message

fatal: box_upload: box account has configuration issue preventing shared link creation

Answer

There is a configuration issue with your Box account, which is preventing Secure Download for Box from creating a shared link.
Please check the Enterprise Settings in Box.
Also, the target email will not be resent automatically, so after changing the settings, please ask the sender to resend the email.

Procedure

Log in to Box with administrator privileges.
Click [Admin Console].
Click [Enterprise Settings].
Click the [Content & Sharing] tab.
Under [Automatic Expiration] – turn ON [Allow owners and editors of items to change the expiration date].
Click [Save].
