Purpose
- This article explains the procedure for migrating users and search policies registered in Email Archive Classic to Email Archive Modern.

- The content of this article is based on the product specifications as of February 2026 and is subject to change without notice.
- To check the actual screens or perform the migration, initial administrator privileges for Email Archive Classic are required.

Accessing Method to Email Archive Admin console -
Before migrating users and search policies, be sure to complete the initial setup of Email Archive Modern.
[Email Archive Modern] Transition from Email Archive Classic to Modern - User and search policy migration can only be performed once.
- Search policies not linked to any users are also included in the migration.
- Since Email Archive Modern uses OIDC authentication for login, a Microsoft or Google account is required to log in.
Procedure
*Before starting the procedure, be sure to complete the initial setup of Email Archive Modern.
[Email Archive Modern] Transition from Email Archive Classic to Modern

From the Email Archive Classic Console, click [Console Settings] – [Modern Users and Search Policies] – [Edit].

"❌ Unsupported Users" and "🟢 Supported Users" will be displayed. Please review the details.
* Migration can only be performed once. Please be careful.
* The following users and search policies are not included in the migration.
