Question
I would like to know when the HENNGE verification screen appears in the Teams app on a smartphone.
Answer
The Access Control verification screen will appear in the Teams app on a smartphone during the initial login or when the Microsoft 365 authentication session is disconnected (cleared).
* The content of this article is based on Microsoft specifications and may change without notice.
With Microsoft 365 modern authentication, once authentication is successful, the application retains the authentication information for a certain period.
Therefore, as long as the authentication information remains valid, the app connects directly to Microsoft 365, and the Access Control verification screen will not appear frequently.
For more details about authentication timing, please refer to the following article.
[Access Control] Relationship between authentication sessions of cloud services and Access Control
The frequency at which the verification screen appears depends on the Microsoft 365 session timeout period and the specifications for retaining authentication information on the device or app.
By default, the modern authentication token is valid for 90 days.
* If you want to force a re-login to Microsoft 365, including Teams, you need to disconnect the modern authentication session.

If the initial login via HENNGE is unsuccessful, please check your communication route and IP address restriction settings.
