[Cloud Protection] How to Handle False Positives and False Negatives

Return (release) items quarantined by Cloud Protection policy to their original location

Target: Customers who have set a policy in Cloud Protection to quarantine detected items

Please follow the steps below.
By performing these steps, items quarantined by Cloud Protection will be returned to their original location.
*Please make sure to thoroughly confirm that the file or URL is truly safe before proceeding.

How to handle files

1. Set status in the Administration
   By following the steps below, the same file will be less likely to be detected.
   1. From the side menu of the Cloud Protection Administration, go to [Detection].
   2. Check the box to the left of the target file, and at the bottom of the screen, set [Renewability] - [Close: False Positive].
2. Submit to the sample analysis system
   1. Please refer to the following steps and submit the file to the sample analysis system.

How to handle URLs

1. Register as a trusted website
   • By following the steps below and setting the target URL, you can exclude it from detection by Cloud Protection.

2. Report false positives from the Administration
   • Follow the steps below to report that the URL is a false positive.

3. Submit to the sample analysis system
