Question
Currently, you have configured attachments to be converted to URLs using Secure Download (Secure Download for Box), but you plan to stop using the URL conversion feature in the future.
How should you update the settings?

If you want to disable your current Secure Download (Secure Download for Box) settings, please follow one of the procedures below.

Procedure
Changing Rule Settings
If you change the setting for each rule in [Rule Groups] from "Send with Secure Download (HSD)" or "Send with Secure Download for Box (HSDB)" to "Send unmodified," the URL conversion feature will be disabled.
* You need to update the settings for all rules where URL conversion is configured.

In the Administration, go to [Filter Settings] – [Rule Groups], and click the Edit button for the target rule.

Change "Attachment" to "Send unmodified" and click [Apply].
* If necessary, we also recommend updating the "Group Name" or "Rule Name."
* If there are many changes, you can also perform a bulk update using a YAML / JSON file.
By exporting the current settings and importing a file with only the attachment settings (HSD: "secure_transfer: true", HSDB: "box_upload: true") removed, you can disable attachment URL conversion in bulk.
Please note that when updating via a configuration file, all modified sections will be overwritten.

Changing Secure Download Policies
In [Secure Download Policies], set Don't send with Secure Download.

In the Administration, go to [Attachment Settings] – [Secure Download Policies] and click [+Create].
* If you are using Secure Download for Box, select [Secure Download for Box] after clicking [+Create]. -
In [Secure Download Types], turn OFF [Send with Secure Download], enter the other required settings, and click [Create].
* If you are using Secure Download for Box, please turn OFF [Send with Secure Download for Box].

* After applying the above settings, even if the rule settings are set to "Send with Secure Download (HSD)" or "Send with Secure Download for Box (HSDB)," attachments will no longer be converted to URLs.
